Getting started
From install to your first published post in a few minutes. You approve everything — SEO Bison never publishes on its own.
Step 1 — Install & sync your catalog
Add SEO Bison from the Shopify App Store and open it from your Shopify admin under Apps. On the Sync page, run Catalog Sync — it reads your products, collections, and existing articles so every draft is grounded in what you actually sell and matches how you already write.
Optionally choose a content scope (specific products or collections) so topics and drafts stay focused on the catalog you care about.
Step 2 — Generate & review topic ideas
On the Suggestions page, generate a batch of keyword-targeted topic ideas. Each idea comes with a short research note and the products it will feature. Approve the ones you like (select several at once), and reject the rest. Approving a topic queues a full draft.
Step 3 — Review the draft
Drafts land on the Posts page under Needs Review. Each one arrives complete — title, meta description, featured image, internal product links, FAQ and structured data — plus an on-page SEO/content score so you can gauge quality at a glance. Edit anything in the rich-text editor, or approve it as-is.
Step 4 — Publish or schedule
Approved posts move to the Approved tab. Publish immediately, schedule a post for a specific date and time, or set up a publishing campaign that spaces a batch out automatically — with skip-weekday and blackout-date controls. Published posts link straight to their live storefront URL.
Optional — Turn on Autopilot
On the Autopilot page you can let SEO Bison generate ideas, write drafts, and schedule them on a cadence you choose — hands-off, within your plan’s monthly limit, and publishing only its own drafts. Configure it fully before enabling, and turn it off any time.
