Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing SEO Bison (the “App”) from the Shopify App Store, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

2. Service description

The App uses artificial intelligence to generate SEO-optimized blog content based on your Shopify product catalog. Content is generated as drafts for your review and approval before publication. You are responsible for reviewing all content before publishing.

3. Billing

• A monthly subscription fee is charged via the Shopify Billing API based on your selected plan (Basic, Pro, or Pro Max).
• Each plan includes a monthly allowance of published posts; posts beyond the allowance are billed at the per-post overage rate for your plan.
• All charges appear on your Shopify invoice. You may cancel at any time from your Shopify admin under Apps.
• No refunds for posts already published or for the current billing period.

4. AI-generated content

• All blog posts are generated by AI and must be reviewed by you before publishing.
• The App includes a grounding check to flag unverifiable product claims, but this is not a guarantee of accuracy.
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and compliance of any content you publish.
• We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is free from errors, hallucinations, or copyright issues.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the App to:

• Generate or publish false, defamatory, or misleading content.
• Infringe third-party intellectual property rights.
• Violate any applicable laws or Shopify’s Terms of Service.
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or billing.

6. Data & API access

You grant us permission to access your Shopify store data (products, collections, articles, pages) and to publish articles on your behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy, solely to provide the App’s features.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated content will achieve any particular SEO result.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the App is limited to the fees you paid in the 30 days preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. Termination

You may terminate by uninstalling the App from your Shopify admin. We may suspend or terminate your access for material violation of these Terms with reasonable notice.

10. Changes

We reserve the right to modify these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the Shopify admin. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
