A 30-Day Blogging Plan for a Brand-New Shopify Store

1 min read

A brand-new store has no traffic, no backlinks, and no domain authority. Chasing competitive keywords now is a waste. The goal for month one is different: publish focused, genuinely helpful posts that build a foundation you can grow on. Here is a plan.

Week 1 — Answer buyer questions

Write 2 posts that answer the questions your customers already ask before buying: "How do I choose the right size?", "What is the difference between X and Y?" These are low-competition, high-intent, and they help you sell.

Week 2 — Start a cluster

Pick one product line and write a pillar post — the definitive guide to that category. This becomes the hub you will link everything else to.

Week 3 — Support the cluster

Write 2–3 supporting posts around that pillar: a how-to, a comparison, a care or styling guide. Link each back to the pillar, and link the pillar out to them. This is where topical authority starts to form.

Week 4 — Capture intent and seasonality

Write one "best X for Y" style roundup featuring your own products, and one post tied to the upcoming season or occasion. Both target shoppers who are close to buying.

What to keep in mind

The shortcut

SEO Bison turns your products into a month of publishable, SEO-optimized posts — clusters included — and can schedule them to publish on a steady cadence so month one runs itself. Point it at your catalog and let it draft the plan.
