# SEO Bison

SEO Bison is a paid app on the Shopify App Store. It is installed by store owners, runs inside the
Shopify admin, and publishes to the store's own Shopify blog.

## What it does

- **Topic suggestions from the catalog.** Ideas are generated from the merchant's actual products
  and collections plus web research, not from generic keyword lists. The merchant approves topics
  before anything is written.
- **Grounded drafts.** Factual sentences in a draft are checked against the store's product data.
  The intent is that a draft never asserts a spec, price, or claim the catalog does not support.
- **A quality gate, not just a score.** Each draft is scored across SEO, AEO, GEO, content quality,
  E-E-A-T, technical SEO, UX, and metadata/linking. A draft is revised until the *lowest* of those
  categories clears the bar, so a post cannot pass by being strong in one area and weak elsewhere.
- **Answer-engine structure.** Drafts are written with key takeaways, a table of contents with
  anchors, direct answers under question headings, comparison tables, and an FAQ section — the
  structure that answer engines and featured snippets extract from.
- **Store SEO audit.** Crawls the storefront and combines it with PageSpeed Insights and synced
  catalog data to produce a store-wide SEO score with specific, fixable issues. The audit itself
  uses no language model.
- **Scheduled and hands-off publishing.** Posts can be scheduled individually, in bulk, or run as
  a repeating campaign with a chosen cadence, skipped weekdays, and blackout dates.
- **Nothing publishes without approval.** Drafts wait in a review queue. The merchant approves and
  publishes.

## What it is not

- Not a general-purpose writing tool — it is built specifically for Shopify product catalogues.
- Not a keyword-rank tracker or backlink tool.
- It does not publish to a store without the merchant approving the content first.
